This website began with some background information, generally about the invention process, and some other inventors who were involved with the invention of the telephone. There is also a list of information about the Alexander Graham Bell, such as his birth, death, and other information about him. Last, this website includes a timeline of milestones the invention process achieved, and other inventors who came up with similar inventions. I found this website useful because all the information was in a list, so it was easy to find and gather. This is a great website and it was very useful to us all.

This website, entitled, “Invention of the Telephone,” is a very credible website. This article begins by stating the invention and how Alexander Graham Bell made the model of it. It also includes information about Bell. The last section of this website information on his telephone company – the Bell Telephone Company. The author of this website is unavailable, but he or she did a very good job explaining the objective, as well as giving great information about the inventor. This website is similar to the previous one because they both include information on both the actual invention and the inventor. This is a very important website to our project because it helped us gather interesting facts, and a ton of great information.

This site effectively conveys a timeline of Bell’s accomplishments and his inventions’ legacies. It shows the progress the telephone made from being a crude backyard invention to being a worldwide commodity. Created at Berkley, the site is very credible. It provides specific numerical details and information on the progress of the telephone throughout the twentieth century. The dates gave a mental timeline of the telephone’s progess, and it helped create concise research material of the telephone.

This website also includes some basic information about Alexander Graham Bell and his life as an inventor. Another inventor included in this website is Thomas Edison, who patented the Electric Lamp. This website was useful for our project because it helped with our biography of Bell, along with giving information about the telephone, itself.

This book told the story of Alexander Graham Bell’s life, as well as his inventions that impacted modern society. It tells of his childhood and the interest in speech that came from his father. Bell continues later on in his life to invent and to improve on speech related technology. The book, published by Lucent Books, is centered on Bell’s life, and his progress through creating his inventions. The information is written as if following Bell through his life. This is part of The Importance Of Series, which tells in detail about various subjects. The research from this book proved helpful because it gave in-depth information about Bell’s inspiration and his progress of inventing. It also gave the various inventions, successful or otherwise, and told the story of their creation.
